This collection of images does not attempt to
document the natural wonders of the American landscape, but rather the feeling of being in that landscape- the human experience of walking in wonder. Let us know if you feel
likewise. For every photograph sold from this portfolio, we offer to donate 10% of the profits to worthy conservation organizations.
Years ago, after leaving my previous career with no home or income, I began camping
extensively in America's public lands, where I drew tremendous inspiration from nature. I also realized how rare that the essential human experience of natural wonder is becoming. As wilderness shrivels, as the pace of life
quickens, and we grow further removed from the environment of our ancestors, we might lose that experience altogether. May these images bring you that sentiment awakened by a stone wall dancing with light, or a leaf cradling a
raindrop- that feeling of being immersed in, in awe of, and in rhythm with the heartbeat of the natural landscape. For it is a fading heartbeat that we must preserve, if not for the planet, then for the soul.
