Heliconia Study
Balenbouche Estate, St. Lucia

I used the slight breeze off the Caribbean together with a wide aperture to create a soft, painterly composition emphasizing the curves and colors of this heliconia (heliconia psittacorum.)  This photo comes from Balenbouche Estate on the island nation of St. Lucia, an historic plantation and eco-tourism site.
