Composition 424

I found this collection of corrosion, moss, and lichen in the moist confines of a WW II artillery bunker built across the Golden Gate to protect San Francisco Bay.  With these photographs, I try to find beauty in the mundane, the discarded, and the forgotten by resurrecting relics of industry as art.  May they remind you that every place, person, and thing has a story to tell, if only we make time to stop and listen.
